What to expect

A programme, in preparation

Poornam's events will be live online seminars and group healing sessions led by Dr. Mouli Mishra, open to participants in India and internationally — each session's own date, time, and duration are decided individually and shown on that session's own page.

Each one will combine teaching with direct, guided experience: not a lecture watched from a distance, but a living introduction to a modality, with space for questions and, where appropriate, group practice. Whether a session is recorded and shared with registrants is decided for each session, and is stated clearly on that session's own page before you register.

We are preparing the first calendar of sessions now. The themes below describe what is coming — not yet a schedule.

Themes we’re preparing

Three healing subjects, taking shape

Theme in preparation
Introduction to Shamanism

Ancient wisdom for the modern world

About this theme

Shamanism is one of humanity's oldest healing traditions — a body of knowledge and practice that predates organised religion, modern medicine, and recorded history. At its heart is a simple and profound understanding: that everything is alive, everything is connected, and that healing happens when we restore right relationship with ourselves, each other, and the world around us.

This seminar will open the door to this ancient world, led by Dr. Mouli Mishra — a practising Shaman with decades of experience across shamanic traditions. Whether you are completely new to Shamanism or have been curious for years, it is designed to meet you exactly where you are.

This will not be a lecture. It will be a living introduction — with guided practice, direct experience, and space for questions.

What this seminar will cover
  • What Shamanism is — and what it is not
  • The core principles of shamanic worldview and cosmology
  • The role of the Shaman as healer, guide, and bridge between worlds
  • Shamanic journeying — a brief introduction and guided experience
  • How Shamanism relates to energy healing, plant medicine, and ancestral work
  • How Dr. Mouli integrates Shamanism into her healing practice at Poornam
  • How to begin your own shamanic exploration safely and ethically
  • Live Q&A with Dr. Mouli
Theme in preparation
Healing the Inner Child

A guided group experience

About this theme

Inside each of us lives a younger version of ourselves who never fully grew up — a child who still carries the wounds, the beliefs, and the unmet needs of their early years. This inner child does not disappear as we age. They go quiet. And then, in our relationships, our reactions, and our recurring patterns, they speak.

This planned group session will be an invitation to meet that younger part of yourself — gently, safely, and with the support of a community of people doing the same work at the same time.

Dr. Mouli will guide the group through a series of structured practices — breathwork, visualisation, somatic awareness, and compassionate dialogue with the inner child — within a carefully held space. This is not therapy. It is an initiation into a relationship with yourself that may take you deeper than you expect.

What this session will cover
  • Understanding the inner child — what it is and why it matters
  • Identifying your inner child's core wounds and unmet needs
  • Guided visualisation — meeting and speaking with your inner child
  • Somatic awareness — where the inner child lives in your body
  • A healing ritual for re-parenting the self
  • Integration practices to carry forward after the session

This kind of session can bring up strong emotions and will not be suitable for anyone currently in acute psychological crisis. If you are unsure whether it is right for you, please write to us before registering once dates are announced.

Theme in preparation
Family Constellation — An Introduction

Understanding the hidden forces that shape your life

About this theme

Family Constellation work — developed by Bert Hellinger and expanded by practitioners across the world — is built on a radical and liberating idea: that we are not isolated individuals. We are part of a living family system, and the unresolved grief, trauma, exclusion, and loyalty of previous generations moves through us — often without our awareness — shaping our health, our relationships, and our sense of belonging.

Why do some people repeat the same relationship patterns no matter how hard they try to change? Why do illnesses seem to run in families in ways that genetics alone cannot explain? Why do some people carry a grief they cannot name — as if it belongs to someone else?

This planned masterclass will introduce the principles, demonstrate the process, and create space for participants to begin to see their own family system with new eyes.

What this masterclass will cover
  • The foundational principles of Family Constellation work
  • Bert Hellinger's orders of love — belonging, hierarchy, and balance
  • How trauma, grief, and exclusion move across generations
  • Identifying entanglements in your own family system
  • What a constellation session looks like — live demonstration
  • The difference between individual and group constellation work
  • How to know if Family Constellation is right for your situation
  • Live Q&A and case discussion with Dr. Mouli

Participants who wish to explore their own constellation work individually will be able to book a one-on-one Family Constellation session through the Poornam platform.

Before you register

Questions we expect to hear

What if I cannot attend live?+
Whether a session is recorded and shared with registrants is decided for each session, and is stated clearly on that session's own page before you register.
I am outside India. What time will sessions be for me?+
Sessions are being planned with participants across India and IST ±2.5 hours (the UAE, Singapore, and similar time zones) in mind, on weekends. Once a date is announced, the equivalent local time will be shown alongside IST, so you can check at a glance.
How will I join? Will I need any software?+
Sessions will run on Zoom. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with a joining link, and a reminder before the session. Zoom works in a browser without installing anything, though the app is more reliable. Headphones will be recommended for guided sessions.
Do I need any prior experience?+
No. Every theme described above is being designed for people encountering the subject for the first time, as well as those who have explored it before. Nothing will assume prior knowledge, and no question will be too basic during the live Q&A.
Will I have to speak or turn my camera on?+
No. You will be welcome to keep your camera off and stay entirely private throughout. Questions will be able to be typed into the chat rather than spoken. Attending without ever appearing on screen will be entirely fine.
Is this a substitute for therapy or medical care?+
No. These sessions are, and will remain, educational and experiential — offered alongside conventional care and never in place of it. If you are currently in acute psychological distress, please speak with a doctor or mental health professional rather than waiting for a group healing session.
Will there be a cost, and will refunds be possible?+
Yes, Poornam events will be paid — modestly priced to keep them accessible, with the exact amount confirmed when each event is announced. A clear cancellation and refund window will be published alongside every booking, before you are asked to pay anything.
Can I book a private session with Dr. Mouli instead?+
Yes — that does not need to wait for an event date. Individual work begins with an assessment session, where we understand your situation and match you with the right modality and practitioner.
